What is aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the use of the distilled essences of plant materials for physiological, psychological and physical benefit. These essences are referred to as aromatherapy or essential oils and can be applied to the skin using a carrier or base oil or inhaled via steam dispersal. You should only apply essential oils to the skin or ingest if using very high quality oils and under the advice of a qualified aromatherapist.
Modern medicines have their roots in essential oils. For example, aspirin is from the bark of birch trees and digitalis is from the foxglove.
As a qualified aromatherapist I can create a tailored blend to suit your needs. I will take a full assessment of your needs and preferences to create the perfect blend for you. I use essential oils for therapy, facial oils and massage.
