Yoga Classes

 

There are many types of yoga but the form I teach is traditional Hatha. Hatha means 'the power of the will over the body.' My teacher Jenny Beeken was taught by Sri B. K. S. Iyengar in India and is the founder/principle of the Inner Yoga Trust.

Yoga Therapy

 

Yoga Therapy is a tailored, holistic approach to health and wellbeing. It works alongside traditional medicine to support in the management of chronic conditions such as stress, anxiety, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain and female health conditions.

Yoga4Health

 

Yoga4Health is a 10 week, yoga on prescription programme developed by the Yoga in Healthcare Alliance. Yoga4Health sessions are 90 mins to 2 hours long and held in groups of up to 15 people. Theses classes use both mat and chair based postures making these sessions accessible for all.

Wellbeing Coaching

 

Wellbeing and life coaching is a helpful tool if you are feeling a little off-track and need to refocus. As a qualified coach I can work with you to rekindle your inner child and focus on living the way that makes you feel happy and fulfilled.

Thai Yoga Therapy

 

Thai Yoga Therapy is a therapeutic form of massage and bodywork that has its roots in Buddhist medicine. It works on the different layers of the body from the skin, tissues, Sen, bones and organs. It uses ointments, heat, myofascial release and stretches. 

Aromatherapy

The use of essential oils for physical, psychological and physiological purposes dates back to Ancient Egyptian and Chinese cultures. I use Neal's Yard essential oils to create high quality tailored blends for use in massage, vaporisers and in the bath.

I am passionate about yoga, holistic health, aromatherapy, meditation, and alternative therapies as a way of combating the stress of modern life. Work/life balance is seriously out of kilter for most and through my experiences I believe in using alternative therapies to restore the balance. I am a qualified Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Thai Yoga Therapist, Holistic therapist and Aromatherapist.
